1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, we collect your email address and display name to create and manage your account. We do not collect your password; authentication is handled entirely by Google or Apple.

Idea Content (Local Only)

All ideas, notes, tags, connections, and related content you create in Idearity are stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly use the AI Chat feature (see below).

AI Chat Data

When you use the AI assistant feature, the idea content relevant to your conversation is sent to OpenAI for processing via a Supabase Edge Function. This is the only circumstance under which your idea content leaves your device. The data is transmitted securely and is used solely to generate a response to your query.

Purchase Information

If you make in-app purchases, your purchase history and subscription status are managed by RevenueCat. We do not directly collect or store your payment details; these are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Analytics Data

Idearity collects basic usage analytics (such as feature usage counts and session information) that are stored locally on your device in SQLite. We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs, and no analytics data is transmitted to external servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Account management: To create your account, authenticate you, and manage your premium subscription status.
• AI-powered features: To process your queries through the AI assistant and return relevant responses about your ideas.
• Purchase management: To verify and manage your in-app purchases and subscription status.
• App improvement: Local analytics help us understand which features are most useful so we can improve the app.

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use third-party tracking SDKs.

3. Data Storage & Security

On-Device Storage

Your ideas, notes, connections, tags, and analytics data are stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data remains on your device and is protected by your device's built-in security features (encryption, passcode, biometrics).

Cloud Services

Your account information (email and name) and premium subscription status are stored in Supabase, a cloud-hosted database service. Supabase uses industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data.

Data in Transit

All data transmitted between your device and our cloud services (Supabase, OpenAI, RevenueCat) is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security).

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with similar data protection laws, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: You can request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Right to erasure: You can request that we delete your personal data. You may also delete your account directly within the app.
• Right to data portability: You can request your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
• Right to restrict processing: You can request that we limit how we use your data.
• Right to object: You can object to our processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
• Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Since your idea content is stored locally on your device, you have direct control over it at all times. You can delete ideas within the app or uninstall the app to remove all local data.

6. Children's Privacy

Idearity is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as promptly as possible. 7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
